My brother's friend Luke committed suicide 5 months ago, he was only 18. I've known Luke since I was 2, I grew up with him, I'm 12 now. I've had multiple dreams since he passed and he's in them but all the dreams i have he tells us he faked his death and that he just wanted a break from everything going on
I'm sorry to hear about the loss of Luke and the impact it has had on you. Dreams can often reflect our emotions and subconscious thoughts. The dream you described may be your mind's way of processing the grief and confusion surrounding Luke's death. It could also be a reflection of your desire to have him back in your life and the wishful thinking of him simply wanting a break from everything.
Dreams can serve as a means of wish fulfillment, where we imagine scenarios that we long for in reality. In this case, it seems like your dream is expressing your desire for Luke to be alive and present again. However, it's important to remember that dreams do not necessarily reflect reality.
It's understandable that you may feel a mix of emotions when dreaming of Luke and his claims of faking his death. These dreams could also be a way for your subconscious to cope with the feelings of loss and sadness, as well as a means for you to hold on to your memories of him.
While dreams can be meaningful and helpful in the grieving process, it's crucial to seek support from loved ones, friends, or professionals to address your feelings and find healthy ways of coping with the loss.
